Yosemite Weekend, Part 2 - Belated Version

Sunday, May 23rd, 2010

Billing over 50 hours in a given week does not give itself to either picture editing or blogging.  But “better late than never” is a saying better applied to my amateurish blogging efforts than to discovery deadlines.

Anyway, here’s the rest of our lovely Yosemite weekend.

Yosemite Weekend, Part 1 - HDR Version

Friday, May 14th, 2010

Katie and I had a fabulous time in Yosemite last weekend.  Though I haven’t come remotely close to finishing my picture editing, I wanted to share a few so far.

Shooting without a tripod, and without automatic exposure bracketing, I was not sure that these would turn out, but I’m delighted that a couple of my experimental HDR shots did indeed turn out.  Makes up for some photographic disappointments from the weekend…  For these, I’m uploading higher-res images than normal, because the colors “pop” a little better that way (click on the picture for the large version).
