Another Milestone
It seems strange to be posting about yet another milestone - they have been coming fast and furious this year. It also seems strange that law school graduation - when I finished studies 10 months ago, passed the bar exam, and became a lawyer in the meantime - should mean so much to me, but it did. Commencement was wonderful, superbly done, and the commissioning prayers will stay with me for a long time.
I was humbled to present the student response.
Thanks to everyone who prayed for me throughout this long journey.

Congratulations, Gabe! Great pictures. What was the theme of your speech?

It was a privilege to be at your graduation, Gabe. I pray for God’s continued direction on your life, and I will always appreciate your investment in encouraging me throughout my law school experience thus far. Persevero!

Hey Gabe,
Congratulations! That is awesome. Thanks for posting the pics … and don’t ever let anyone tell you that you don’t look good in purple

In re: my speech - I’m hoping to get some video of it soon, but that hasn’t happened yet. I focused on the fact that we law students like to quibble on words - and the smaller the word, the more minute the argument, the better we like it. Take words like “if,” “except,” and “for”; we’ll debate about words like these until the cows come home.
But if we stop quibbling for a moment, those words can give us the real gist of law school…
If
Except
For
Video hopefully coming…
