Here we go…
It’s been a whirlwind of preparations this week, and I don’t feel nearly ready. This trip has presented planning difficulties the likes of which I’ve never had before, and I’m praying hard.
But what is evident, not just to me, but to the whole team, is the attack of the enemy against us. The attack has come in many forms (not the least of which is the former head gasket on my car - another prayer request entirely) but it is there, and very real.
Would you pray for us? The attack excites me, because it means that this trip has the potential to do a great work for the Kingdom, but at the same time, it is hard. A lot of things have to come together on this trip, and your prayers provide us a hedge of protection.
And as you celebrate the 4th, please remember in your prayers those that do not have the freedoms we have been blessed with. Happy Independence Day!
